Is there a way to change one of the configuration parameters via a smartapp or webcore. I am trying to disable local control of a switch after a certain time. Working with a red series dimmer.

Don’t think so with webCore. Are you on SmartThings? Open the switch in ST, click on the gear icon, scroll down.

I can disable it manually from ST yes, but i want to be able to have that happen automatically based on something else, specifically after a certain time at night.

I believe you can on the red series switches. Go into the settings of the device and scroll down to [Child Devices] enable “disable local control” and or “disable remote control”. You can then add those child devices for local controls into automations.
