How to Turn off Motion Sensing with a Trigger

Just installed my first Inovelli switch, a blue series, presence dimmer. It works great. Only thing is it is in front of my home theater and I can’t seem to figure out how to make it turn off when my theater goes on. Light keeps turning on during motion on tv. Currently using Home Assistant as my hub. What am I missing in the below config? It is still not working. Ideally want it to turn off while theater is on, and then go back motion detection when the theater turns off.

alias: Stair Light Theater Control
description: ‘’
triggers:

  • trigger: media_player.turned_on
    target:
    device_id: 22a8d83524ad7c48a9ded833352d0675
    options:
    behavior: each
    id: theater_on
    conditions:
    actions:
  • action: zha.set_zigbee_cluster_attribute
    data:
    ieee: 70:0d:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx. (blocked on purpose)
    endpoint_id: 1
    cluster_id: 64561
    cluster_type: in
    attribute: 110
    manufacturer: 4655
    value: 0
  • action: light.turn_off
    target:
    entity_id: light.basement_main_basement_stairs
    data: {}
    mode: single

I see that you’re trying to set parameter 110 to 0 (Disabled), which is what you need to do to turn off the presence sensor, but have you verified that running the automation works correctly?

If that properly sets that parameter on the switch when triggered, then there is something else going on.

Here is what the action block looks like for my Z2M setup in a quick test automation that I have verified works for me, for comparison…
