My current fan is on a diffrent circuit then the switch box. It has constant power and can be controlled by either pull chain or RF remote. Can the LZW36 be wired in my current switch box with constant power, but no load?
Yes, that’s actually how it is designed to work.
The switch itself requires Line and Neutral, and does not actually have a Load output. The fan module is wired in with constant power. The switch and the fan module do not need to be on the same circuit. As long as they are within wireless range of each other it should work.

Glad I found this thread. Have a similar setup where the fan is on a different circuit from the current switch (controls a single switched outlet… very silly). Installing the lzw36 in it’s place worked great!
