Scene Delay sometimes

Hi,

I have about 20 Inovelli Red Series Dimmers. The aeotec usb zwave stick is in a closet downstairs, about 50 feet away from the first switch. The zwave stick is also unfortunately on one end of the house so not central to the switches.

Occasionally we go to activate a scene from one of the switches, for example triple tap up to turn on all lights in the kitchen, and there is a large delay for it to take effect. About 5 to 10 seconds, other times it works almost instantly.

I took a look at the load averages of the raspberry pi/home assistant and it doesn’t seem overloaded or anything (Although it is only a Raspberry Pi 3).

Does anyone know if a Aeotec signal booster might be a good investment? I ordered one of these in hopes it would work better: Z-Wave repeater and range extender • Aeotec Range Extender 7 (ZW189)

A Z-wave repair may or may not help, but it couldn’t hurt.

I did try doing a z-wave repair. It didn’t seem to make a difference.

I’m having the same issue. I’m using NodeRed with Home Assistant. Can’t seem to figure out what is causing it. My zwave network isn’t overloaded either.
