Secure vs Insecure Repeating

Hello,

I own multiple LZW31-SN and am curious how z-wave repeaters work in them. I have three questions:

  1. If I pair these insecure, will they repeat secure signals?
  2. If I pair these secure, will they repeat insecure signals?
  3. If I pair these as S2, will they repeat S0 signals?

The answer to all your questions is yes. Z-Wave repeaters will repeat for all devices on the same network (“home ID”) regardless of what security level, if any, that they themselves are joined with, and regardless of the security level of the other devices.
