Has anyone successfully integrated the Inoveli Z-wave dimmer switch with Smartthings so that one can control the LED on the light? I would like to be able to control the color of the LED based on the status of my Smart Home Monitor.
Yes, to the first part. I have the LED turning red when the security system is armed and green when it is disarmed. I don’t think smartapps can get access to the state of smart home monitor directly, at least not that I’ve found. So you can’t directly change the led based on the state of smart home monitor. This was done by creating routines that change smart home monitors state and set the led on the dimmer accordingly. So I have a routines called goodbye, goodnight, and good morning.
