VZM32-SN Blue mmWave Z2M Zigbee2MQTT Home Assistant Automation Options Missing

Issues with multi tap options in HA Automation

I just got several Blue mmWave Presence Dimmer Switches (VZM32-SN) and have been setting them up in Home Assistant using Zigbee2MQTT. Starting easy with single pole w/ neutral directly wired and bonded to zigbee 3.0 lights.
When I try to add an Automation in HA some switches have many multi-tap options available, but some only have single tap option. I have compared the settings on these switches and there is no preference I have set on one that is not also set on the others which I thought may have been the reason these options were not showing up.

Is this a flaw in the firmware or my configuration? I JUST installed these today and have been trying to figure this out all day.

Attaching screenshots of the single vs multi tap options available.

This switch only has single tap options:

and this one has multi tap, single tap, hold, control button, etc:
These are the options I was expecting on all of my switches. So far I have 3 out of 5 working out of the box, and cant figure out why the other 2 wont provide these options.

Z2M doesn’t populate those options until they’ve been triggered once (each) on every device.

An easier way to create automations with Z2M in Home Assistant is to use my blueprint: Blue series Home Assistant multi-tap automation question z2m - #2 by rohan

I was not aware Z2M didnt auto populate all the various multitaps. Once I performed these actions for the switch they appeared in Z2M. I am quite sure the Blueprint works as well, but I am not yet to that point, but thank you very much for offering as an alternate solution!

Yeah, it’s a little annoying. Especially when you have a house full of the switches :joy:. After getting tired of it on a few switches, I put the blueprint together instead.
