Thanks. Aside from minor differences in cost, is there a strongly-held view on whether it’s better to have one mmWave switch alongside two dimmers vs. three mmWave switches in the same room/gang box?
Having separate mmWave switches for each circuit would avoid a point of failure/dependence on the hub, and enable multi-zone motion support for each circuit since that feature isn’t yet available in the firmware. That said, I’m not sure what the possible downsides are to this approach - potential interference?, loss of other features?, etc.
I don’t think there’s any loss of features and Eric says there should be no interference. I personally wouldn’t do it this way because I want my hub in the loop but if you’re willing to pay the additional price for them, it should be fine.
Just wanted to pop this back up, as while there was an update following, it neglected to address the core concern IMO.
Hopefully Inovelli takes this as a learning opportunity for future ventures - we’re already so far into this one that backing out now would seem silly… But for the next? If there are multiple months where updates have to be constantly chased down, then no matter how excited I am, I’d have a much easier time skipping it, and I can’t imagine I’m alone in this
Yes, indeed there are. Thank you for pointing me to that as almost 700 posts back, I would have never seen it. I also didn’t see an update on the Kickstarter/indiegogo/wherever page.
That said, you didn’t answer the question:

Today is Thursday…You still feel you are on track for that?
Yes, we are still on track with that timeline. Regarding the Indiegogo updates, the Indiegogo contributors are on the same email mailing list that the mmWave update emails are being sent to. If you did not receive the email, please let me know and we can look into this further.
I have also not been receiving updates. The last update about the project I received from Inovelli was in March and from Indiegogo in June. I’m not sure I’m the only one not receiving updates and having to pour through this post to find updates. I too am weighing switching to the Zwave version, but hadn’t heard anything so don’t want to miss out on that announcement
I also have received zero email updates from indiegogo or Innovelli since ordering the product nearly 2 years ago. This thread has been the only way for me to have any visibility. The indiegogo page still says:
This product is in (Certifications), expected to complete by early July, with delivery anticipated in late August 2025. Please note, these dates are subject to change.
I also last received an update in March and no emails since. I’ve been popping in to this thread every few months to check on progress. Happy to see that we’re so close to production but disappointed in the weak communication overall.
I knew what I was signing up for buying an in development product and expected delays so that’s not a problem for me.

Have you seen somewhere saying it is actually in production? I know I asked on Monday for confirmation and the question seemingly got skipped over by @Kaleb_Inovelli which makes me feel as though it’s another week of timelines slipping and not communication around it. Would love to be wrong and these to finally be in production.
