I’m a EE with experience designing embedded systems. I’ve been dabbling in home automation since around 2015 starting with SmartThings, then moving to Wink when Samsung bought them, now moving to Habitat which has opened up a whole new world. I’m thoroughly enjoying finding ways to automate things in my home that gets solid “wife approval” - that is it offers greater value.
