Remove the traveler and the load conductors from the Inovelli. Leave the line, neutral and ground. Does the switch power up?
Got it. Remove the hot and neutral from the switch and test between the two using a meter. It should be 120VAC approx. The black is coming from a bundle, so I wouldn’t think there is an issue there, but test anyway.
If you’re getting 120VAC, my guess is that you smoked the switch miswiring it. You had the black on the 3-wire connected to what I believe was a a hot bundle, which means you had 120V on both the load terminal and the line terminal at the same time. Just a guess . . .

That was it. Switch was smoked. Swapped it out and all is good now. Your help was much appreciated, sir.
