Hi all, i just got 90 white series dimmers  and have test installed two of them. But it seems i can’t get two smart switches to work together on the same load. [Image (3)] [Image (4)] Both switches are on - the light (LED) is on - I can’t switch it off on neither switch. Thanks …

@peter.kozak the first thing I see is no ground in the first photo. What hub are you using and how is the second switch setup to control the switch with the load?

Thanks for answering, Lance. The ground was just disconnected for the photo. The switches are not connected yet to a hub. (Home Assistant - giving me some trouble - might open another thread related to that). I understand why I can’t switch off the light on the first switch nor the second. I conf…

I am not sure I am following? You have figured out what the issue is? What bulbs are you using?

I had before a UBP (HAI) dimmer and a HAI Aux Dimmer in there. As I understand, i can’t use the (Aux) Dimmer as a dumb switch. I switched the main ABP Dimmer to the first white series. Single works fine dimming and turning of and on. I then removed the aux switch and installed the 2nd white series.…

[image] peter.kozak: ABP Dimmer If the bulb is not a smart bulb and you have not connected the switches and bulb to a hub you will not be able to control the light. If you have the switches in smart bulb mode it disables the control of the load on the switch. Both switches and a smart bulb wo…

ah ok, i misunderstood smart bulb mode then - however i read somewhere that smart bulb should be turned on when using two smart switches on the same load (also if load is non smart). I think the problem is in the wiring. If i disconnect the 2nd switch - i can control the light from the first dimmer…

Can you post pictures that show the inside of each box as well as the current switch connections? Without being able to see the wiring in each box, folsk here can’t do much to help troubleshoot any potential wiring issues.

Topic updated. Two switches working together are a 3-way.

Unless the switches are in Europe where they use N-way to refer to the number of switches rather than the number of terminals.

Sure,. lets start over - i did also a few measurements using a voltmeter. Junction Box 1: [JunktionBox1] Switch 1 Connection: [Switch1] Junction Box 2: [JunktionBox2] Switch 2 Connection: [Switch2] The result of this cabling is: The ceiling light is ON and can not be powered off from ei…
