A big thank you!

I just wanted to share a quick note to the Inovelli folks.

I was reading this post here: 2025-2026 Roadmap and saw the frustration in trying to manage community expectations. So I just had to chime in…

Real quick:

I’ve held off on really diving in to home automation, keeping to just a few automated outlets. I was waiting for something like Thread to come along. But since it really actually hasn’t yet. I said “f#&k it” and ordered up.

I made my first (small) order from Inovelli yesterday. I’d briefly read about these “blue switches” on reddit. Crucially, it looks like you guys make the only real Zigbee fan controller. So here I am.

Anyways, I just got a notification that my order shipped and would be here 2 days earlier than expected. That’s strange, where’s it coming from? Wait, what? Kalamazoo, Michigan?! Hell, yeah, that’s awesome!

I’m so tired of all the cheap crap that’s out there. I’m so relieved to find you guys.

So, from a fellow Michigander, I just wanted to say thanks!

Thanks for having a dream. Thanks for building a local company. And thanks for making a great product.

Don’t sweat the haters!

@digerata We’re incredibly grateful for you and everyone who has chosen Inovelli to be part of their smart home journey.

As someone who’s been an automation enthusiast since the X-10 days, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly the landscape evolves—and how it keeps us all on our toes. @Eric_Inovelli and @EricM_Inovelli have been riding the leading edge ever since I discovered Inovelli during the launch of our Gen 2 Red Series, and I truly believe Inovelli devices set the benchmark for what smart home technology should be. From the satisfying tactile feel of the paddle to the signature LED bar with animated notifications, they strike a perfect balance between form and function.

Even with years of experience, I still run into moments of frustration—whether it’s the learning curve of a new protocol, integrating a device into a mesh network that doesn’t play nicely with my hub of choice, or navigating the ever-important spouse approval factor we all know and love.

This is also due in part to our community and the willingness of each of you who helps through suggestions, support to others, and choosing Inovelli. Any how sorry for the rambling and we welcome you to the community.

I really appreciate reading this after so many of the posts asking for updates on the mmwave switch (which oscillate between love and frustration).

I hope you love your new switches. I’ve really enjoyed the Blue switches that I have. I get a little bit of joy from them each day as they silently do their thing in the background of my life.
