Wiring help (single Pole)

Hello I’ll try to make this post as clear as possible. I have a single pole light switch that turns on a switch in my kitchen. I’ve identified (I think) which wire is hot [IMG_9299.HEIC] (as seen here) There is a bundle of white which I assume to be neutral: [IMG_9300.HEIC] If I connect Hot and load (which I labeled down The lights come on.
