Blue Series 2-1 Switch - Network / Pairing Issue Announcement

We sent out an email earlier this week that said the following (apologies if you did not receive it – we will send out another one shortly):

Summary: It’s come to our attention that some switches may be experiencing connection issues and the manufacturer has identified a hardware defect. If you are experiencing issues, please fill out the form at the bottom of this email to see if you qualify for a replacement.


To our trusting pre-order customers,

The Inovelli 2-in-1 Blue Series Switch pre-order shocked us by selling out our entire batch in a matter of days before anyone had even reviewed or seen the product first-hand. We increased the pre-order size based on the demand and couldn’t be happier that you have chosen to partner with us on this switch. This switch has brought us back to market with a stronger product and future than ever.

We are writing to inform you of a signal issue that we have discovered with some of the early adopters such as yourself. Unfortunately, there is a batch of these switches that have a degraded signal issue where the radio inside the switch is not operating as intended, and the signal strength of these units seems to be negatively impacted.

Our manufacturer has identified the issue and has offered us replacements to which we’d like to pass onto you should you qualify.

If you are experiencing network and/or routing issues, please check your IEEE address by either locating the sticker inside the box (look at the EUI code), scan the QR Code on the switch itself (bottom left corner) or by locating the EUI/Zigbee ID in your app (Hubitat and Home Assistant).

Addresses impacted are as follows:

  • 94:34:69:ff:xx:xx
  • 38:5b:44:ff:xx:xx

If you need help finding the IEEE address, please reach out to support ([email protected]) or by replying to this email.

Finally, if you do think you qualify, please fill out this form and follow the directions. It’s important that we have your IEEE address as well as a picture of the QR Code or sticker for verification.

I will be manually checking and verifying the forms that are sent in (please give me a week or so, there are quite a bit) and will follow up with an email once your form is verified.

I’m hoping to be done verifying everything by the end of next week (Nov 18th).

Replacements will be sent out once this next batch comes in – the replacement batch will come to us (Inovelli) so we will be the ones taking care of this.

If you ordered from Z-Wave Products or Aartech, please indicate that in the form.
