Blue Series Fan Switch Firmware Changelog | VZM35-SN

Where can I download the 2026 firmware that was just released? Did not see it on Github

We will be making an announcement about it in the next couple of days.

I see the announcement, but there isn’t a firmware update for Hubitat … yet.

I requested that Hubitat post it about a week ago. Haven’t heard back yet.

The files will be available in Home Assistant and Z2M by tomorrow (for those using those platforms).

Where was the announcement posted? I must have missed it somewhere! Would love to learn more

@jon we sent it out to those that purchased the VZM35-SN. Might have went to your junk email?

Here are the contents:

Should now be available for Hubitat

Wondering if anyone here has had a chance to update yet. Neutral users on non-neutral users is there any feedback on the update?

I updated all my fan switches yesterday. No issues so far. The bathroom fans have been on and off as usual. I only turned on one of the ceiling fans just to check, as it’s a bit cold right now to need to use the ceiling fans.

Any update on when we will get full functionality with ZHA without a Quirk?

They merged the PR for zha-device-handlers last week:

Add Inovelli VZM32 MMwave Presence Sensing Switch attributes by InovelliUSA · Pull Request #4552 · zigpy/zha-device-handlers

So I think that part is going to be integrated soon. The other part though (zha) hasn’t been merged yet (which provides the settings entities).

I am very surprised it has taken so long . . . :frowning:

Most Home Assistant org owned repos tend to be slow (several months) for PRs to clear due to sheer volume of PRs incoming unfortunately. The hazard of being an extremely active open source project.

I used it as an excuse to migrate to Zigbee2MQTT which I had been considering for awhile anyway.

I purchased a new ZBT-2 controller to replace my really old dongle and manually migrated my devices over. With ~60 devices it did take a little time, but I have no regrets. It also seems to have solved (might be too soon to really know) my issue with some door/window sensors falling off the network periodically.

For anyone on the fence in a similar situation, this might be a good solution.
