Previously, our community was organized around product lines (Switches, Lighting, etc.). While that matched our website, it didn’t reflect how discussions actually happen. Most people come here looking for help, updates, or a place to share ideas, not to browse by product type.
To make things clearer, easier to navigate, and better aligned with how you use the forum, we’ve reorganized into four main sections:
1. Product Support – All troubleshooting in one place, with subcategories for:
- Platform Help
- Hardware & Firmware Help
- Wiring Discussion
2. Innovation & Firmware – Focused on the future:
- Innovation Projects
- Feature Suggestions
- Firmware Development & Changelogs
3. News & Announcements – Official updates from the team:
- News
- Live from HQ
4. Digital Lounge – A place for community conversations:
- General Discussion
- Suggestions & Wishlist
- Buy, Swap & Sell
In addition, we will be utilizing tags more for easier categorizing. Some posts require tags now, so please make sure to tag the post with the most relevant data. This helps not only with categorizing, but we are working on integrating AI to help with searching and answering. questions. Lastly, we’ve been working on a system behind the scenes that rely on tags to categorize bugs, hardware issues, etc.
There are a couple of links on the side, as well, to filter to your specific region since we’ve expanded outside of North America. If you are a European, feel free to click on, “European Filter” to filter out any North American posts and vice versa.
Finally, there are different themes you can choose from (and I’m open to making additional ones!) other than just light and dark mode. You can find them here:
- Click on your profile picture
- Click on the person icon at the bottom and then, “Preferences”
- Then click, “Interface”
- Finally, look where it says, “Color Palette” and select your light and dark theme.
In addition to the default Light/Dark theme, there are a couple other ones so far.
