Double Tap Activate scene, but not device

Hello,
I have recently made the switch from SmartThings to Home Assistant. I’ve migrated all of my devices over and am still working through some kinks. One of them involves a LZW31-SN.

The device’s load controls a single light outside my patio door. I have a scene setup on the switch so that a double tap turns on/off the string lights around my patio. When I was on SmartThings, double tapping the switch to activate the scene ONLY turned on the string lights, the single light remained unchanged. However, now that I’m on Home Assistant and have the same scene control setup there, the behavior is slightly different in that when I double tap, the string lights turn on/off, but the single bulb also turns on/off. I don’t want this to happen.

My automation is fairly straight forward,
When “Central Scene action on Endpoint 0 Scene 001” then do “Turn off Patio Lights”.

Am I missing something?

Are you using the HA blueprint for the LZW31-SN multi-taps???

I have them, but I haven’t used them yet. Unless I’m misunderstanding how the blueprints work, you can only create an automation for a single device with a blueprint. I have a couple of switches I would like to all include in a single automation that trigger this. I’ve got 3 switches that I would like to control this action. I was hoping to have all 3 of those triggers in one automation to keep is simple. I’m assuming I would have to create 3 different automations using the blueprint for each switch?

I have separate automations for each switch, and they each control lights and LED status bars on all of the others. When you’re creating an automation, you can easily clone an existing one, give it a new name, and change the switch that triggers it without having to create new automations from scratch…

I just created an automation using the blueprint…and it’s not working at all. Do I have to reload anything to get it to work? I’ve reloaded the automations already, is there something else?

I figured it out. I had to update config parameter 50. It was set at 0 (thought it says valid values are between 1 and 9, default 7). I set it to 7 and it’s working as expected now.
