This would be semi-exclusive with my other FR ( Feature Request: Allow skipping of delay when multi tap is enabled / load always on/off for multi tap events )
But in my opinion all multi-tap events should still control the local load, along with sending the appropriate event.
I propose adding a config item (it could be a simple single byte bitmask) that is something like “X Tap(s) Control local load” and you’d just map bits 0-5 to 1-6 taps. If the bit is a 1 that number of taps controls the local output. if it’s a zero it only sends wireless commands.
As I said, I always want local control so I’d have mine set to 0x3F but the magic of making this configurable you could say “I want a single tap plus 4 and 5 to control the local load but not 2,3 and 6”
Okay, sure you serial killer, set that byte to 0x19 and you’re off to the races!
