Some of the more recent Aqara devices allow for firmware switching between Zigbee and Thread. This is a great idea for future proofing, since Thread is relatively new and Zigbee is currently well established. So we can use Zigbee now but have the opportunity to switch to Thread in the future.
I wonder if this would this be possible based on the hardware in Switches like the current Blue and White series? If not supported now, could it theoretically be possible in the future to be able to switch between Blue/White firmwares on supported hardware?
I think I recall this being a possible feature on the presence detection switches currently on IndieGoGo?
