Homey Support For the VZM31-SN (Blue Zigbee Switch)

Will the blue series presence switch be added as well? I see the red but not the blue

Yep, hope to have it done within the next couple of weeks.

@harischundrigar just FYI, the presence switch (red and blue) have been added to the test app and I will push it up the production channel after doing some more testing.

We have most of our devices published in the test channel. Will be updating the production channel after some testing:

Are setting up different areas available in the Homey app, or will they be in a future version? I am currently using home assistant with the mmWave Blue, and want to switch to Homey, but need the ability to have different areas and presence areas like in Home Assistant. Using ZigBee2MQTT without the app, it only shows “1” area (without using the app). From the Cards I have seen with the app, it also has one presence alarm, or has this been changed to support different areas (like home assistant). I like homey better than HA, and was going to switch, unless I am unable to due to the inability to have different Areas like HA.

Homey currently only supports the one zone. We have a couple people that have helped with our Homey integration and I can check to see if they are up to looking into adding support for additional zones.

That would be great if you could check. I don’t mind switching it to the bridge and using the app and away from Z2M if they plan on adding it.

I don’t have Homey, but if you’re using Z2M why aren’t the multiple areas working? Z2M supports that functionality natively.

I am using Z2M and they do show up there, but when I put the zigbee2m importer when importing devices into honey, supports only 1 main area even though I have 3. Probably a homey issue when importing capabilities? But only one shows up when using the z2m importer app of homey.

Ah, I see. I assumed Homey used the same MQTT discovery payloads that Z2M provides. I guess that’s not the case? I use Z2M with Home Assistant and they just flow in from there naturally.
