I really like the LED notification bar on my Dimmer Switch.
My worry is that the life of the switch/LED will be hurt by keeping it on all the time. I am using it to indicate the status of my home alarm.
Should I be worried?
No. These LEDs are relative low power and the drive circuitry is simple. It does not have the same limitation you might read on the package of a lighting LED.
