Matter mmWave Switches Under Development?

Any news on when we might expect matter dimmer switches with presence detection?

I don’t think there is a Matter version in production at present. Inovelli is concentrating on the Blue and Red versions currently under development. Since mmWave is a new undertaking for them, they want to get these out and improved before a Thread/Matter version is considered.

Yes, sorry – here’s a quick update on the next milestone – we have a call tomorrow morning where I can confirm everything. May 14 - Tooling is completed, beta samples are dispatched (set to arrive May 20th), ETL Certification starts (they don’t need the final firmware on it, they just need the final hardware). They have committed to a matter version (White), running several months behind the Blue version, but it actually will use most of the same Blue hardware. See Zigbee / Matter Motion Switch | Project Linus (Blue Series) - #505 by Bry with Matter updates interspersed.
However, it looks like the zigbee version will not be upgradable to Matter, due to various memory and certification issues.
