NZW30/31’s pairing issues

I have some Gen1 NZW30 (on/off) & NZW31 (dimmer’s) that were paired with a z-wave dongle via home assistant. Due to an error (not saying who’s) the z-wave dongle itself accidentally got deleted which caused the switches to be orphaned.

After much headaches resetting the dongle, I am trying to re-add the switches. I am having headaches where they won’t pair to either the dongle or a Vera Plus hub.

Tried the power of/on, hold down “B - I.e.down” for 5 seconds, pulling tab for load power, 6 up, down, sideways, etc.

No go for getting them to recognize. Any suggestions or are they garfed?

I would try excluding them first and then including them.

Hey Eric - Good to hear from you. It’s been a while since we chatted via Reddit, email, etc. Hope all is well there and see that you are swamped with all the new product launches.

I was able to eventually get them to pair by having my wife hold the UP button on them while power cycling the circuit breaker they were connected too.

I never had a doubt that it would get figured out/taken care of.

Finally getting time to get some of the last gen1 installs done and brought in some gen2’s for good measure.
