Possible to do Open/Close of a millivolt circuit?

Hi there!

I just converted my whole house (minus this last switch) to Inovelli Red. The last item is a fireplace and there are two switches.

  1. Power, which turns on the pilot flame - can be Inovelli Red.
  2. Open/close which turns on the main fireplace and is plugged into the controller circuit board (millivolts across the switch)

Am I stuck with a physical switch for the open/close and no ability to do a smart switch/relay to turn the fireplace on? I could put a physical switch in and have it always on (closed), then turn on/off by turning main power on/off. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

If you need to make and break a low voltage feed, then use a 120V dry contact relay. The relay can be energized/de-energized via a connection to the Inovelli. The dry contact side switches the low voltage feed.
