I’ve seen a few past threads where people have discussed this but they’re all closed.
When converting to Inovelli from a Lutron system, I’ve frequently run into problems where there was a Pico in a location that either doesn’t have wiring at all or the wiring isn’t connected to the load that the switch was controlling.
Automations can help, or you can use one of the Zigbee remote switches on the market from Hue, Aqara, etc. but none of them match the aesthetic of the Inovelli dimmers very well. This is the closest I’ve found, but it’s Zigbee support seems pretty unofficial.
It would be awesome of Inovelli had a “Remote Aux Paddle” that looked pretty much like the Aux switch but was battery powered.
Nice to haves:
- Designed to make battery replacement easy (take off the claro wall plate and remove without needing to unscrew too much)
- A config type button that could be bound as well
