Red Switch Blinking Cyan When Smart Bulbs Off

I have a Red series 2 in 1 switch in a single pole configuration WITHOUT a neutral wire controlling Philips Hue Smart Bulbs lights on the ceiling. If I choose Smart Bulb Mode and I turn OFF the Philips hue lights, the switch LED blinks cyan repeatedly. Once the Philips hue lights are turned back on the LED blinking goes away. If I leave the smart bulb mode disabled, the switch works fine for local control but the Philips Hue bulbs no longer remained powered when the switch is off. Will aeotec bypass fix these issues?

I have tried swapping the line and load wires but that didn’t help. I have reset the switch and readded it back to Smart things but the issue persists.

Any tips?

A bypass will likely solve the problem. We’ve seen similar reports on the forum in the past and the bypass solved them.

Alternatively, you could rewire at the lights and the switch to run a line / neutral down to the switch and no longer have a load connection on the switch since you’re using smart bulb mode.
