SmartThings Edge WWST Drivers

We are working on a set of drivers that will be WWST compliant and allow usage of our devices without installing drivers. These drivers are a little different because they can’t contain custom capabilities. If anyone is interested in testing them they are labeled (wwst) in our channel:

Would be helpful for some to help rule out any bugs since ST charges us each time we get them certified.

Notifications work a little different. There is a settings option to create a “child” device. This device can be used in Routines.

Thanks! Maybe use it on a switch that you don’t have a bunch of notifications set up on since we had to change how notifications work. I think the other stuff should be the same.

@avi Any issues with the drivers that you noticed? Were you able to test VZM31-SN, VZM35-SN, or VZM36? I think @Eric_Inovelli has been testing and hasn’t had any issues.

No issues yet. I only have VZM31-SN.

Turns out SmartThings wanted us to remove some of the features and integrate our driver into their zigbee-switch driver. So this thread is kind of obsolete. Well, most of the code was taken from this wwst driver and integrated into the the pull request for their zigbee-driver switch. So testing the driver above did help since it is a lot of the same code. Since the driver is a lot smaller, it is easier to test. This is our beta channel and the driver is called Zigbee Switch if anyone is interested (but we have already submitted the PR).
