Third fan control mode option for config button

Currently I’m using the feature where the config button controls the fan on the bound canopy module, and it’s great. (Well, except for this issue where the canopy and switch get out of sync if you’re also controlling the fan remotely, but that’s a separate thing.)

Both of the existing options for using the config button are less than ideal for how I want to interact with my fan. I really want the wall switch to be first-and-foremost and on-off for the fan. If I’m walking in or out of the room and want to change the fan quickly, it’s almost always toggling it on/off, with changing the speed being a much less common operation.

This is reflected in the design of a traditional non-smart fan, where the wall switch controls on/off and the pull cord changes the speed.

Therefore, I propose and option 3 for parameter 130with the following behavior:

  • Single tap: toggle fan on/off
  • Double tap: cycle to next speed
