So I’m looking to use a Red Series dimmer (v2) to control an RGB controller that powers RGBWW strip lights. Currently, the dimmer is wired to an outlet the RGB Controller (and power supply) are plugged in to.
What I’d like to do is use the dimmer to power on/off the strip lights as well as adjust their brightness. Since the dimmer adjusts the outlet voltage, I’m thinking I will have to wire nut line and load together and bypass the dimmer.
Are there any existing methods to pair an Inovelli dimmer with a strip light RGB controller, so that the dimmer’s on/off and setLevel methods command the RGB controller instead?
