Is the bottom led supposed to be always red in fan speed mode? it causes a cool gradient when using “blue” as the light bar colour and increasing from low->med>high, but any other colour and it just looks like a bad led module.
If anyone can confirm, i’ll hit-up my distributor for a replacement as i was hoping to use all-white for my led bar.
This sounds like a software issue in the firmware. The switch has a ton of different parameters for setting led colors (starts are number 60) for each individual LED in different modes. I would guess that one or more of them have gotten stuck. I think LED 1 is the bottom one, so I would try to change parameters 60-63 to different values to see if it changes and then reset them to normal (255 & 101 respectively) and see if that fixes it.
If that doesn’t fix it, try a full factory reset which should clear out all of the parameter memory.
ah good call… if i manually set the colour value for all the LEDS indivdually to the same value i can clearly see that LED1 is not producing blue at all… Hopefully AARtech can sort me out.
Just FYI, if you’re using Zigbee2MQTT, a few months ago we fixed a bug where the index values for the 7 LEDs were offset by one and the first LED could not be changed. So if that’s what you’re using you might want to make sure you’re upgraded.
