How do I update my address? I’ve moved since I originally backed the Indiegogo.

I don’t believe we are splitting up orders by country, so if there is an order in the 1st batch for Canada, you should be receiving it at the same times as others!
Hey everyone,
As production wraps up for the Blue Series mmWave switch, our team wanted to share some behind the scenes photos of the manufacturing process:
We are getting close to the finish line on this project, and it’s great to finally be able to see these switches come to life after a long development!
Thanks again for your patience and support on this project.
Stay tuned for shipping updates soon!
That’s awesome!! I’m surprised there’s that much manual work involved. I suppose the total units is still relatively small compared to say Leviton or P&S dumb switches, and thus not worth fully automating it.
Since Eric said we can share our experience with the beta units, I wanted to drop in and say how pleased I’ve been. I have a Red Series in my office, and it’s been fantastic. Truly seamless. It turns on instantly when I enter, stays on while I’m in the room (even detecting me reliably through my thick office chair), and then turns off 30 seconds after I leave the room. The FOV has been able to cover nearly all of my small office (except for the extreme corners), which is better than I’d even hoped. I’ve also been really happy with the options for customizing the detection zone and ignoring interference.
I’m extremely excited to install the production Blue Series in every room in my house. Well worth the wait.
I wonder if anyone has experience, with the mmWave sensor an monitors. Where I sit at my desk, the view of my switches is obscured by a dual monitor setup. I am wondering if it will penetrate them for accurate presence monitoring.
My switch faces my monitors (and my back), so I can’t definitively say whether it’ll see “through” the screens. But I suspect it’ll be fine since it can penetrate my very thick desk chair well. And it can also penetrate walls if you don’t configure the bounds of the room. ![]()
Also not the exact same situation, and not the exact same sensors either, but similar (I believe it was mentioned that Inovelli was using HiLink at one point, but they may have changed) - I have HLK-LD2450 sensors - one above the ceiling pointing through drywall, and one mounted inside a solid wood cabinet door facing out, and they both work just fine. I also have one inside a fairly thick plastic shell of an old-school motion detector, and it normally works fine, but when I open my solid exterior door and leave it there blocking the view, it severely restricts its range. I have another HLK-LD2410 mounted behind a plastic switch plate, and it’s normally fine, but when I prop open the door in front of it, its range drops to just a few feet as well. So… mmWave sensor are pretty amazing, but the number, material, and thickness of obstacles can substantially lower their range. There can also be a wide variance in the quality of different models. I kinda hate my LD2410, and it’s a pain to configure, I love my LD2450s, and they’re simple to configure and can track 3 targets at once. And my Aqara FP1 sensors are my worst ones - I can’t wait to replace it with an Inovelli. Given the configurability of the Inovelli sensors that I can see in their Zigbee2MQTT handler, I would assume they’re going to be at least as good as my LD2450s.
Thank you both for the feedback. It seems quite likely that it will work well in my situation. I am looking forward to getting mine to find the best places to use them.
Are these directional? The light switch for my office is on the outside of the room pointing away from it. I doubt it would work, but hoping I can maybe set a zone for in front of or behind the switch and have the automations trigger on that
Almost certainly directional. The mmWave sensor they are using (and basically every mmWave sensor I’ve ever seen) is single sided. They can detect stuff “in front” of them, but not stuff behind them.
Production was delayed due to them having to add an rf shield on the back of the sensor. Not only is it not designed to pick up behind it, they are blocking any signal from going that way.
Hey everyone!
We just sent out an email update regarding the shipping info for the mmWave switches. In case you did not receive it, here it is:
IMPORTANT: PLEASE CHECK YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS AND ENSURE IT IS CORRECT AS WE WILL BE SHIPPING THESE TO YOU WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE OF WEEKS.
Good morning everyone!
Apologies in advance for those who are not subscribed to the mmWave updates, but I wanted to make sure this email got to everyone it’s intended to.
I have some great news. The Blue Series (Zigbee) mmWave switches are being loaded onto an airplane and are being delivered to one of our warehouses out in California where they will be fulfilling orders.
I sent the labels to the manufacturer last night and have arranged receiving with the warehouse.
Here are the highlights:
We are shipping all Indiegogo orders first
Most of the Inovelli.com orders will also be shipped. I think there is a cutoff around October 2025 for the first batch (more on that below)
Remaining orders will start shipping at the beginning of December when the second batch arrives
Z-Wave orders will arrive at the beginning of December and all orders will be shipped then
If you ordered color paddles, those will ship separately as they are coming with the second batch
As mentioned above, the manufacturer is shipping this to us in two batches. The first batch being all Zigbee and the second batch will be a mixture of Zigbee and Z-Wave along with the color paddles. We had to split it into two due to the volume of orders.
Please check your Indiegogo order or Inovelli.com order to ensure you have the most up-to-date address.
Any questions, please reach out to [email protected].
Thanks so much for your patience and have a great day!
-Team Inovelli
Please let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you.
Hello, want to clarify that for folks who may order in the near future, there’s still stock (in addition to what’s already been ordered/allocated) coming in the second batch (beginning of December)? So e.g. for new Blue mmwave switch orders, we wouldn’t have to wait for a future/third batch?
How do we switch from zigbee to zwave?
Can anyone share/estimate how well these would work in a small bathroom. Both of my bathrooms have the light switch oriented in the same direction as the door, approximately 1 foot or less from the doorframe (with the door opening away from it). Is there some “cone” of detection to think about here or would presence possibly be detected as soon as one enters/door opens?
Excited to see they are shipping soon! For Canadian customers, will any tariffs be covered? Or will shipping be handled within Canada to avoid extra charges? I’m worried about surprise charges at the door for these
My personal setup has the switch perpendicular to the door, but based on my experience with the FOV it should still detect you as soon as you take a step or two into the room. Since the door swings outward, it’s very likely the switch would detect that as well.
