3 fan wires in canopy

Hi all, I am trying to connect the white series to a maverick ceiling fan/light. But there are three wires

to the fan motor. I tried wiring them all together and connecting to the red on the inovelli and also just connecting the red to the red, but nothing happens. The light is working, although doesnt dim.

According to that fan’s spec sheet, it has a DC motor. The White series fan switch isn’t compatible with DC motors (it’s for AC motors only).

Damn, I thought the fan was AC (I was looking at the listing information). Good thing I spent two hours troubleshooting it for no reason today. Does anyone have a suggestion of a smart module for a DC light/fan?
