Unfortunately I don’t know how to upgrade the firmware. (I have the excellent ISY994i hub).
I’m not familiar with that hub. I have ST which doesn’t support ota updates so i bought a usb zwave stick and used the secondary controller update method. You could try a factory reset before doing an upgrade. Hold the config button for 30 seconds.

Thanks and I appreciate the various replies. However I am not sure that I want to go through these various steps, especially removing the switch from my ISY. The switch is part of several programs and am not sure that the result is worth the “pain” . Anyway I will check whether the latest 5…3.1 firmware of ISY allows for ota. Thanks again .
Understandable. FYI instead of resetting boys the circuit breaker you can pull your air gap button. It’s just below the rocker switch on the left. Pull out then push back in will reboot switch.
But would that not reset the switch to factory default as well ?
Nope. Pulling the airgap is just the same as cycling the breaker.
