3-way with Neutral in one box?

Yes you can do that. Just make sure you give yourself enough length or remember it’s connected if you have to pull the switch out. I ended up making double pig tails in one of my boxes because it was 7 wires connected…

Perfect, thank you so much! I’m off to order more switches

They sold out…you’ll have to wait until August :frowning:

Yes, that’s fine. When you backstab, make sure that you don’t have a lot of bare wire showing. If need be, trim the wire slightly so that the jacket almost touches the back of the switch.

Switches are available. It’s the dimmers that are out.

Dang…guess everyone knows I’m #teamdimmer vs. #teamswitch.

This is done and working! Yay!

To make my life simpler I started by swapping the black and white wires at both ends of the 3-way and confirming everything still worked with the dumb switches.

Once that was confirmed I just followed the wiring diagram for a 3-way with neutral and an add-on switch at the other end. Worked like a charm.

I’ve wanted to have automation control over these lights for more than 5 years. WOOOOO!!!
