When does the Aux work or not work? For example, does it only work when the on but not off, etc?
The aux is only able to turn off the light when the light is on. It’s unable to turn it on
The dimmer is able to turn the light on and off
I’m thinking this is going to be one of 2 things. It’s either the switch isn’t properly programmed for the Aux, or it’s a signaling issue.
I know you set the Aux type in HA, but try switching it to something else and then setting it back.
Airgap reboot after each change. You can also try setting it at the switch. See the Quick-tap guide in Blue Series 2-1 Switch • Button Combinations, Quick Tap Sequences & Local Configuration Options | Inovelli Help Center
You can also try factory resetting the switch and resetting the switch type.
Sometimes, spotty Aux performance can be a signaling issue, which is a communication issue between the dimmer and the Aux. One fix for that is to reduce the max brightness. In your case, you don’t have a load, so that doesn’t make much sense. However, it couldn’t hurt to reduce the max brightness setting to 80% or lower to see what, if anything, happens.
Tried setting in home assistant to several different settings back to 3 way aux and Airgap reboot after each, and still have the same problem. Also tried manually clicking.
Also set Max brightness to 79 and still unable to turn on at aux box.
Running out of ideas …
Try putting the switch in the smart bulb mode just for the heck of it.
Also, try a factory reset.
If that doesn’t get it you may want to submit a support ticket and explain that you think you have a signaling issue.
If you can’t get it going, you could always swap the Aux out for a second blue dimmer. You have a hot and neutral in the Aux box and that’s all it needs. But there isn’t any reason what you have should not work.

FOR THE HECK OF IT!!! You did it! Smart bulb mode!!! Omg. Thank you. They’re dumb bulbs though but who cares. It works. I haven’t even tried fan options yet but I think this is a W!!!
