Aux switch causing light to dim on any button press in 3-way

Hello all,

My inovelli aux switches just came in and was trying to set these up in both a 3-way and 4-way install. In both instances, I believe I was able to wire things appropriately with a load/line in separate boxes. The aux switches work appropriately (mostly…), allow dimming, etc. with the 2-1 switch. However, pressing any button on the aux switch causes a brief dimming of the lights (up, down, config). It will then proceed to dim, brighten, turn the light off, etc.

I initially thought it was an issue with wiring a 4-way, so I tried on a 3 way with the same issue. My 4 way is working fine after rewiring to work with 3 smart switches and grouping. I also tested another aux switch and different 2-in-1 switch with the same issue. Tried factory resetting, etc. The 2-in-1 is set to dimmer and 3-way with aux.

Anyone have any thoughts?

I have the same issue in my 3-way configuration with neutral. The switches are working as expected aside from this unexpected dimming issue.

I have an Inovelli Blue Dimmer switch as the main switch. My line and load are in the same box. The switch is configured to use the aux switch.
