Aux switch not sending button presses to hubitat

Hi, this is my first time using an Aux switch so I’m not familiar with expected behavior. I have it wired correctly to a Red On/Off and it’s controlling it correctly but it is not sending hub commands. I’m only seeing “button 1 pressed” when I press the actual switch, not the aux. Is this expected or is there any way to enable this? I’m trying to write a webcore script.

Does this only work on newer switches or something?

Another aux sends the correct information on another circuit with a new red 2-in-1. I’m guessing this isn’t supported with Gen 2 on/off?

I’m pretty sure this is a Gen 3 thing.

Correct. Gen 2 cannot do scene controls from aux switches.
