Just purchased these 2 items, and noticed the manuals don’t say anything about each other.
So I’m trying to figure out how to tie them together? Also it appears that the switch is meant for turning the light on and off, what about the ceiling fan?

Wire both the switch and the canopy module so that they have a constant hot and neutral. Do not wire a load to the switch.
Then use Zigbee binding to connect the two so that the switch controls both the fan and the light functions. How you set up binding is dependent on which hub you are using. You can search https://help.inovelli.com or post back here with more details/issues.
