Blue 2-in-1 w/neutral wire lost neutral mode setting

Hi, I have two VZM31 switches installed in kitchen on different circuits, let’s say switch A &B. They are in single-pole full sine wave mode, and each control a different bank of overhead led lights. They paired up with Z2M(2.6.1)/HA just fine, though both seem stuck on fw 2.15. Setting the fw issue aside for a moment, both have neutral wires and are set up for trailing edge. Life was good for a couple days. After I had turned off the circuit for one of them, switch A, restored the power, it changed from neutral mode to non-neutral. I have attempted to air-gap it and cycle breaker again to get the mode to change back. I have tried to factory reset it. Any idea why the switch would be working fine in neutral mode and then switch out of that mode after power loss?

I would suggest double checking your wiring. Sometimes if a wire is not tightened properly, it can slip out while in operation.

Also double check that you have line and load wired correctly (not swapped).
