I’ve chosen the Inovelli fan control switches as the switches to replace my existing fan switches, and after installing three of them I’ve paused to see if Ican find a solution to a problem I’m seeing. I can definitely tell that the fan with the Inovelli switch is not taking the fan up to max speed. I have two rooms I can compare side-by-side, and the Inovelli switch is like the medium Speed with the dumb switch. It’s there a setting I need to adjust?
Switch model: VZM35-SN
Setup: Homeassistant with Zigber2MQTT (SLZB-06 coordinator) using the Mosquito broker.
Settings adjusted in Homeassistant:
Single Pole
Fan
I’ve verified the max speed is not lowered. I’ve also updated the firmware on the switch.
Edit:
Switch is installed with neutral wiring, and should be able to handle 2.5A. Lights are installed on a separate switch. This fan is rated to require 30W at high speed, which is 0.25A.
No problem. I double checked and yes, I see it now. I guess I was concentrating on whether it would work for my fan in the first place.

What I would like to see in Inovelli’s FAQ stack is an example on changing the three speeds for a ceiling fan. I’m not quite clear on the Parameters page text on how this might be done. Take the easy approach and use a neutral wire setup with a basic dumb three speed fan with the pull chain set to high. Lights on their own switch. My current beef is that low is way to high (33%).
