I recently switched from ZHA to zigbee2mqtt due to a plethora of issues with ZHA. One thing that actually worked in ZHA was the fan switch. Even though it was identified as a light, I could change the speed with a corresponding dimmer value. Anything 1-33% was low, 34-66% was medium, and 67%+ was high.
Now that I’m on z2m, the switch is correctly identified as a three-speed fan, but the speeds are wonky. Low is WAY too fast, medium is faster still, and I can’t really see a different between medium and high.
I have tried running the switch in “exhaust” on/off mode. The speeds are better, but “low” is still way too fast.
Any advice for how to solve this issue?
Side question- can we have a zigbee2mqtt tag?
