On one of the switches, when commands are sent to the switch, the switch is sending appropriate events back to Hubitat.
The other switch, on/off commands sent to the switch are working (the lights turn on/off); however, the events are not sent back to Hubitat. If I click on the Initialize command for this switch, the states and variables are updated and reflect the appropriate state.
Both are currently using the v2.18 firmware, and are using the same Inovelli driver dated 2024-05-30. Both are in a no-neutral configuration.
I’m having the exact same problem. I just set up:
1x VZM31-SN in single pole, smart bulb mode with dual zigbee binding to a blue canopy fan module. This works great.
1x VZM31-SN in multiway-with-aux and an Inovelli Aux switch in on/off non-smart-bulb mode. This works okay to control the load, but I can’t get my Hubitat C8 Pro to see any of the button presses.
Both switches are on 2.18 firmware and I’m using the latest Blue 2-in-1 driver from the Inovelli Github (5/30/2024).
Both have neutrals.
The interesting thing is the non-working switch IS getting commands from the hub. I can turn the load on and off from the hub UI, and I can update the switch’s LED colors and that works. I can even do digital push/hold commands and those trigger the rules I’ve programmed. It’s just trying to trigger the pushes/holds/favorite presses from the switch that don’t work. (The sequences don’t work on the Aux, either, though I imagine that is expected if the main switch isn’t working.) I’ve tried the Configure command multiple times with Default and blank and All with no resolution. I’ve also tried Initialize and Refresh.
I just removed/excluded the switch, factory reset, pulled the air gap, started the include, and then pushed the air gap and let it pair. once it joined I did a config all and then set up the Aux parameter. It now seems to be working.
