I’ve got a blue canopy module installed with a blue fan switch (2 in 1 dimmer backordered). The paddle is set to control the fan, and config button to control the light via Zigbee bindings. The config button currently cycles through dimmer levels, I’d like it to just toggle the light on and off, but I can’t seem to find the setting for that.
I’m using a Hubitat C-8 as my hub.
Any help would be appreciated.
To set the config button on your Blue Series fan switch to control the light on/off using Zigbee bindings in Hubitat, follow these steps:
- **Ensure Firmware is Updated: Make sure both your switch and canopy module have the latest firmware. This is crucial for Zigbee bindings to work correctly.
- Open Hubitat Dashboard: Navigate to your Hubitat dashboard and go to the Devices section.
- Select Your Fan Switch: Find your Blue Series fan switch in the list of devices.
- Configure Zigbee Bindings:
- Go to the Device Details page for your fan switch.
- Look for the Zigbee Bindings section.
- Bind the config button to the light endpoint. This will allow the config button to toggle the light on and off
