I just installed my first Blue Series smart dimmer switch. So far I’m really liking it. There is one thing I can’t figure out though, how to simulate physically clicking the up/down paddle of the switch. My hub is Home Assistant.
The switch controls a smart bulb patio light and is in smart bulb mode. I have an automation for the patio light that turns if off and on at sunrise/sunset. I also have an automation that so that I can manually turn on/off the light using the switch with the up/down click action. The issue I’m running into is when the sunrise/sunset automation runs the state of the light switch no longer matches the state of the ilght itself. If the switch is “off” and the sunset automation turns the light on, the switch still shows as off.
So what I’d like to do is change the sunrise/sunset automation to simulate clicking the up/down of the switch. This way the state of the light and the switch stay in sync.I can’t figure out how to do this in Home Assistant though.
