Blue Series - SmartThings Integration No Longer Working

Blue Switches
Hub v2
Official Channel For Inovelli SmartThings Edge Drivers

Not sure what happened but I noticed yesterday that some of my automations/scenes weren’t working from the switches. I loaded up the SmartThings app and tried it from the App but the status would just spin/load on any inovelli switch I had. Other devices are working fine, seems to be isolated to just inovelli. From the app or web, I can’t even do basic on/off on any inovelli now. From the switch, on/off seems to work fine.

I tried doing the same thru the SmartThings Dev/web and it’s unresponsive there as well.

No recent changes.

Any ideas on this?

I don’t think it’s anything global, as mine are working fine.

Did you check the drivers to ensure you’re still on the Inovelli Edge Drivers channel?

Maybe power cycle the hub? Or air gap the switches?

Good to know it’s just isolated to myself.

Yeah, verified I’m still using “Official Channel For Inovelli SmartThings Edge Drivers”.

Power cycled the Hub and air gapped the switches.

I haven’t reset one yet to see what happens. I’ll give that a go.

Thanks!

We are probably on different shards, so who knows.

I’d give it a day or so before doing anything drastic. Sometimes wonkiness like that is temporary and just seems to resolve itself.

Went to try and change drivers and I noticed that when I click on the Inoveli driver I get a 403 page:

SmartThings Channel and Drivers

image1060×576 16.5 KB

All the other drivers I have load up the channel information page just fine. Is there a new link for the blue switch drivers?

Update - I was able to approve by accessing it again via the link on the Edge Driver wiki here. After that, when I click the link, it takes to the normal page for enrollment. Not sure why or how that happened.

This didn’t fix it though. Also, I noticed that when I wanted to just try a generic driver, I unenrolled and waited for about 30 minutes - rebooted the hub. When going back into SmartThings afterwards and trying to see I could swap drivers on the switch. I didn’t have any other listed available. So I can’t delete the Blue Series driver since it’s still assigned to others too.

Checking console logs is kind of odd too:

Just constant chatter of that for all my Blue’s

Also I noticed that I have a new Matter Switch driver ( I didn’t add it) that was updated the same day this happened:

Matter Switch 2026-03-12T16:34:29.714365243 7103039b-68d6-442c-afe5-e1bc955924a9

Just to clarify (there is a tag issue on posts here), you’re talking about a Blue 2-1 Dimmer, right?

You definitely have some driver issue going on. You should have been able to go to the default Zigbee Switch driver. Go into the Advanced Web App, click the 3-dot menu and select Advanced Users. Select your hub and then select Installed Drivers. (Or go to that same location however you get there in the phone App). Scroll down. Do you see the Zigbee Switch installed?

Yep, Blue 2 in 1’s, about 20 - all doing the same thing.

Driver wise, I don’t see a generic zigbee one. Here’s a screencap of them all:

And trying to change the Driver on the device I see this:

So you don’t see the default driver because it’s not installed. The default drivers are automatically added as a channel that is part of the firmware. The fact that you’re are missing at least the Zigbee one may be part of your problem, but it’s hard to say. You might want to post in the SmartThings community to see how you go about getting those back.

so downloaded it from here and got it uploaded but still no change sadly. Swapping between generic and the inoveli driver. I’ve been wanting to move over strictly to Home Assistant tbh. This just makes it that more urgent. Hopefully binding isn’t terrible to remove and adding to HA directly for zigbee
