Blue Series - Trailing Edge Config Issues

Hi there,

I am trying to configure my switches to use trailing edge. I have successfully done this on one other switch, but with most of my switches I am unable to make this change. All of my switches are neutral connected.

  • Switch that worked is in Single Pole, Dimmer mode, version 2.18
  • Switches that didn’t work are:
    • in Multi Pole, Dimmer mode, with Aux switches, on version 2.18
    • in Single Pole, Dimmer mode, version 2.18

I am doing this at the switch using the Paddle Down + Config 13x combo. I do not see any sort of confirmation light at the end, and I can confirm from ZHA that parameter 26 is still bool.False.

What am I missing?

I also am aware that you cannot configure this from the HA UI. I do think we should make this more clear in HA that it’s not remotely configurable; I’ve spent hours trying to make that work until I stumbled across this thread – Can’t set parameter 26 (Leading or Failing Edge) to True on Inovelli Blue 2-1 switches

I believe it’s Paddle Up + Config 13x for true, down for false.

Yeah. That’s the thing, though, I’ve tried both combinations, and don’t get a pink confirmation light @hevak . Feels like either a bug (not likely) or it’s some sort of configuration issue on my side preventing me from setting it

Try factory resetting and then try it again.
