I’m just writing to ask/confirm that the new (pre-order) Blue/Zigbee Smart Presence Dimmer will include the feature to bind the config button to the Zigbee Fan Module (VZM36) as outlined in this article with the VZM31-SN switch. In other words, this same functionality for the fan canopy binding/association in the VZM31-SN will also be available in the Blue/Zigbee Smart Presence Dimmer.

That is my expectation as well since the software is based on the VZM31-SN. The beta units are going out soon and I’m sure this is going to be a feature that several of us will be testing.
In reviewing the beta documentation here: Blue Series mmWave Presence Dimmer Switch • Manual | Inovelli Help Center, I don’t see any mention of this being an available feature. I’m hopeful that the current documentation is simply the additional features of the mmwave capabilities.
I can confirm that the parameters exist and the endpoint for binding exists (I wrote most the converter modifications for Z2M for this switch). But I have not personally tested this functionality. The firmware is based on VZM31, so I expect it works just fine.
