I have hue bulbs connected to a LZW31-SN dimmer and have had flickering immediately (one or two flashes) after restoring power to the bulb at the dimmer.
The dimmer is connected to neutral and the ramp rate is set to zero and happens on multiple different switches and bulbs. I did not have this problem when using Sengled bulbs in the same configuration. This does not happen when using a dumb switch. I also noticed that the flickers are less likely to happen if I set the switch to “no-neutral” configuration.
I understand the controversy about cutting power to smart bulbs but I need to be able to completely power off the bulb in this install.
Are there other switch settings I can use to minimize flicker? Does the switch function differently in non-neutral mode when it is also physically connected to the neutral?
