I have an Innovelli blue dimmer in smartbulb mode (Hue recessed lights) with with no neutral. When the lights are off there is no buzz, but as you ramp the dimming up the switch buzzes and gets louder as you ramp up the lights. I noticed if I enable the “higher output in non-neutral” option the buzzing in the switch seems to go away however the led on the switch continuously flashes and the switch seems unstable. I have a bypass I can install at the switch, but I wanted to see if there was some setting I was missing or if I should look at anything else first.
First, double check to make sure that you are wired correctly. Did you test the two conductors to determine which was the hot? If the wiring is done to convention, the hot will be the white conductor. Always best to test, however.
If that is correct, try switching from leading to trailing edge or vice versa to see if that helps.
In another post, you described where the air gap is not cutting power to the switch. I suspect you are not wiring properly
Trailing edge doesn’t work without a neutral.
Also if the switch is in smart bulb mode, i don’t think it makes a difference, but I could be wrong.
