I will be using Lutron Pico Remote (with fan icons) and Home Assistant to control my canopy modules. I think the specialized remote provide a great user experience. People just know what they are for.
My concern is if/when Home Assistant becomes unavailable and I’m 100’s of miles away from home, people won’t be able to turn the fans on or off.
Can anyone recommend a zigbee remote that can be bound directly to the module so I can use as a backup switch?
The rational is (and I might be wrong): if I’m able to bind it to the module I will be able to control the fan even if the hub (home assistant) is down. It doesn’t need to be pretty or intuitive since it is only a backup option.
